My research has focused on the molecular mechanisms of viral RNA recognition and innate immune activation. I currently work as a scientist at an RNA drug discovery company in Kyoto, focusing on the molecular mechanisms that drive innovation in therapeutic research. Alongside my academic background, I create science illustrations that have been featured in peer-reviewed journals, press releases, and the Kyoto University Visualize Your Science guidebook published by Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Biology (ASHBi).

Through my online shop, I merge creativity and molecular biology by designing protein structure-themed goods such as stickers, pins, and T-shirts, as well as digital lab notebooks for researchers. I enjoy collaborating with academic groups, companies and science communicators worldwide to promote accessible, creative approaches to sharing research and inspiring curiosity about the molecular world – to make science more accessible and visually engaging.

Scientist-led illustration and design for communicating research

["post-504","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry","entry
["GET
